I first contacted Aliya in Jan 2021 After preparing for an IVF journey, we were ready to relocate to London, I was informed by my IVF clinic that my hormone balance was not where they wanted it to be. I was so disheartened and sent home! On my train journey home I spent my time reading about Accupuncture – and how it could help in balancing hormones and fertility! Then I discovered Aliya, I was absolutely delighted when she confirmed “yes I can help with your FSH level” From the moment I met Aliya I was so comforted in her knowledge and understanding of hormone imbalances and what I needed to achieve in order to start the process. I visited Aliya in Feb 2021 and Within a month of her treatment, Aliya set the foundations for my IVF journey and the clinic were delighted that the levels were lowered! I firmly believe we would not have been able to start our journey without Aliya’s guidance and expertise. Our darling Niamh was born on 25th Nov at 4pm I’m writing this review with our little miracle in my arms and I’ll be forever grateful to Aliya for helping us right from the start! I’ve been seeing Aliya for Accupunture to support my fertility journey since 2018 following a recommendation from a couple of people. By this point I was already into my early 40s and finding it impossible to carry a successful pregnancy. Aliya has an unwavering confidence which never fails and the most wonderful way about her, this combined with her knowledge and expertise makes her a rare find. Through much persistence with IVF and my own eggs which didn’t work I then turned to a donor (even with this route the first two attempts failed), however on the third go and with Aliya’s help I was able to carry a successful pregnancy and now have my incredible and healthy baby boy. Aliya, in my opinion, was a fundamental part of my treatment plan. Her clinics are always spotless and she applies a very personal and professional service to each session. I always feel completely relaxed and recharged after each session and look forward to the next. I think Aliya is a wonderful person and an outstanding professional, this comes from someone who has exacting standards and I therefore would not hesitate to recommend Aliya to anyone.

I have been coming to Ali for 6 years now. The sessions are my little haven of relaxation and I always feel on top of the world. I cannot thank Ali enough for all she has done for me and my family. Originally I came for conceiving my 2nd baby after a miscarriage and he arrived very quickly after my 2nd session. Another 2 babies later…. I cannot recommend acupuncture with Ali enough.

I first went to see Ali in June 2020 after being recommended by someone at my fertility clinic. I was very sceptical at first and wasn’t sure of the benefits but I was prepared to give anything a go for the best chance of getting pregnant. I wanted to make sure my menstrual cycle was in a good situation to accept an embryo and to help me stay fit and healthier. I was surprised at how relaxed I felt during my 1st acupuncture session and when my period came that month I had no spotting, no pain and Ali said this was all good signs ready for pregnancy. The embryo I had put back stuck with the help of having acupuncture before and after my transfer, unfortunately the embryo didn’t stay stuck and resulted in an early miscarriage. I continued with acupuncture and in the build up to my 2nd transfer I was able to relax more and had really got into the swing of acupuncture and the way it made me feel after. I had more regular acupuncture for my next transfer and around the time of my miscarriage last cycle Ali offered a free session to reduce the risk of this happening again. I continued seeing Ali until I was about 9/10 weeks pregnant when after many scans could see the pregnancy progressing. I absolutely loved having acupuncture and would not hesitate to have it again in the future. It particularly helped me to relax, relieve my anxieties and also help combat my early morning sickness and headaches! Thank You Ali. 

After 8yrs of unexplained infertility, 7 failed IVF’s and finally 2 children from the last IVF I contacted Aliya to balance my body, in readiness for a new IVF cycle. I was a bit sceptical about the glowing testimonials on the website, but my apprehension was ill-founded. After about 4-5 sessions, I WAS PREGNANT naturally. No need for IVF. I have possible immune factors that prevent embryos from implanting. Aliya balanced and boosted my immune system which I suspect allowed a natural pregnancy to occur. Also my period went from a 31-2 day cycle to a textbook 28 day, with reduced PMT and no spotting. I must add that I was also following a very healthy eating plan (lots of fresh fruit, vegetables and protein) along with supplements for myself and the husband. But without a doubt, the acupuncture played a major part in getting me pregnant. The sessions are very relaxing and not at all painful. And she is just the loveliest person. I have recommended her to all my friends who are also suffering from various fertility issues. Don’t let the costs put you off. She is worth every penny.

After trying for a second baby for over a year I went to see Ali following a friend’s recommendation. Ali was very thorough from the get go, wanting to ensure she understood everything that was happening from a body and a life point of view. After approx six months of trying to regulate my periods and reduce my stress levels, we got to the stage where they were regular and operating how they should be. However, we knew falling pregnant naturally would be a challenge as I have a very low AMH.

Myself and my husband knew that if we wanted to do IVF we would have to do it as quickly as possible because we knew the success rate would always be on the low side due to my egg quantity. We decided to go for IVF as soon as the first lockdown was lifted. I visited Ali once a week in the three months leading up to IVF to ensure my body was ready. Ali was fabulous during the IVF process, a constant positive attitude but also so flexible. One example of this is on implantation day I had to be at the clinic super early. Ali was more than happy to see me ahead of her clinic times to ensure I could have the treatment. I have no doubt that Ali’s nature and flexibility helped our IVF process.
I’m very pleased to say that despite only collecting three eggs and two being implanted, we now have a healthy baby girl who was born last week.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Ali enough. Her treatment, her personality, her calming nature, her positive mindset – I truly believe all of this helped me be in the right frame of mind for IVF and for having our little girl.

I went to see Aliya initially as my periods had stopped and I had been diagnosed with PCOS. I also wanted to start trying for a baby in the next few months. I found my first session with Aliya so enlightening. She is so easy to talk to, intuitive and supportive. After a couple of acupuncture sessions my period returned. I fell pregnant the following month and am expecting my first baby in June. I fully believe that this was due to my sessions with Aliya, which I have continued through my pregnancy as I have found such a benefit from acupuncture. I have since recommended Aliya to a number of my friends and family.

Came to see Ali for 3 months before my current IVF cycle and found it to help so much, made me a lot more relaxed during the whole process! Now currently 20 weeks and have just gone back today for another treatment for headaches. Feel better already 🙂

We cannot recommend Aliya enough! She is warm, attentive and so supportive as a therapist. She really cares about all of her patients and tries everything she can to help them on their journey. Acupuncture was recommended to me after an ectopic pregnancy, followed quickly by two miscarriages. It was such a difficult time in our lives. I hadn’t really done anything like that before, but was ready to try something new. Aliya really helped to keep me calm and give us hope! She talked to me before every session and went on to chat to my Husband who always supported me by coming to the waiting room. The Acupuncture was gentle and gave us a sense of relief after each session – it really helped to keep us going! I continued to see Aliya all the way through my pregnancy, just before having our beautiful baby girl. I feel like she was there by my side, every step of the way. I truly believe Aliya helped to make our dreams come true!

I have been seeing Aliya for acupuncture for about four years. She helped me to get over the very painful experience of an ectopic pregnancy and to go on to conceive successfully soon afterwards. I now have two healthy children – one aged two years, and one aged two months. I had acupuncture throughout both pregnancies and wouldn’t have done it any other way. In the past Aliya has also given me treatments to get on top of migraines and to support my emotional wellbeing as I grieved for the loss of my father. She has a very personable approach to treatments, explaining the points in simple terms, and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend a visit to see her!
