I started visiting Aliya just over a year ago and amazingly almost a year on to the day my baby girl arrived in the world. This was nothing short of a miracle in my eyes having suffered 3 miscarriages in just under 2 years. When I went to see Aliya I was particularly low and desperate but following regular visits, within 3 months I had had my first ‘perfect period’ (apologies if that is too much information!). My body really responded to the acupuncture treatment and within no time at all I felt strong enough to try again. I continued the treatment all through my pregnancy and recently delivered my daughter. I cannot thank Aliya enough for the amazing treatment I have undergone over the last year, without it I feel sure I would not be in the position I am today. I would highly recommend Aliya to anyone who has undergone any fertility issues.

Ali has helped me become pregnant successfully twice. I last posted a review for Ali in November 2012 (which can still be viewed – I was then Marie Lord), my opinion has not changed however what I would like to clarify is that I have had 4 pregnancies in total, 2 have resulted in miscarriage, 1 has resulted in a beautiful (now 22 month old) baby girl and a second so far 25 week successful pregnancy expecting a boy. The detail is Ali assisted me with 2 of those pregnancies, I will leave it to you to work out which 2. She is a fantastic, sympathetic, understanding and knowledable practioner who understands more about you than you do. Her only aim is to help you in whatever areas you need and bring balance back to your life. Again, if you are not sure about fertility acupuncture, what have you got to lose? It is much less stressful and much lest costly than other avenues and it really will get body and mind ready for the beautiful journey that is pregnancy, it will hopefully help you in your goal (as it has mine twice) and the extras are other areas of your life can be improved (my skin, weight, and a calmer mind were my experiences), not only that the sense of inner peace is amazing once you had a session with Ali. So please, contact her and start to improve yourself as soon as you can.

I started seeing Ali just over a year ago, I was on the brink of a diagnosis of Fibro Myalgia and had been off work with chronic fatigue. My main symptom at that stage was a near constant fluey aching feeling, I have a demanding job and had started to wonder if I could continue working, I am also a single mum to a 5 year old so working (and an income) is a priority for me.
After my first visit to Ali, my achy painful symptoms stopped, in the past year I have had the odd days re-occurrence but nothing more, which is hard to believe given where I was when I first met her.
I see Ali most months and have had treatment for periods (which has stopped mid cycle bleeds), a painful back (the pain ceased that evening), for stress management and general health maintenance.
My treatment with Ali has given me back a life quality which I was losing, I look forward to the sessions and always feel an emotional un-lift after each visit. I will continue to see Ali regularly as a way of managing my health going forward. Thank you Ali:).
P. S I recommended my sister to Ali following an unsuccessful attempt at IVF, I’m pleased to say my sister is 14 weeks pregnant (through natural means).

When I first went to see Ali I was at quite a low ebb and dealing with a couple of health issues including IBS, painful periods, low mood and I had also been trying to get pregnant for about 6 years. After the first few sessions I noticed a definite improvement in my periods, the pain has lessened which was such a relief. The most startling outcome was a fell pregnant after a few months of treatment and I believe the acupuncture played a big part in this. I continued to have sessions to try and make sure the pregnancy was as strong as possible and think the definitely helped to get me to where I am now, which is 7 months pregnant. I would definitely go back to Ali for treatment in the future.

I first starting visiting Aliya for acupuncture a year ago after having surgery on my back in May 2013. After the surgery I tried steroid and painkiller injections into my vertebrae via an NHS pain clinic and also regular massage but it didn’t work. I was having to take high doses of co-codamol, tramadol and gabapentin to control my pain. This meant I was unable to try for a baby and I actually felt hopeless in the fact I thought i’d never be well enough to carry a pregnancy. It took a few sessions before it started to work, probably due to the log standing back problems I’ve had for the past 16 years, but the perseverance paid off. I am now free of all painkillers and visit Aliya approx. Every 8 weeks and this time gap is extending after every treatment. I also felt ready to start trying for a baby and am happy to report that we ‘got caught’ first time. I happy in the knowledge that Aliya will be able to continue treating me during my pregnancy and help keep my back pain at bay.
Aliya makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and talks you through every aspect of your care, I would highly recommend her.

I have been having acupuncture for 7 years and have been seeing Ali regularly for the last 2.5 years. As a mother of 2 children with a full time, senior job my life is very busy! I use acupuncture as a way to de-stress, relax, and remain well.

Ali is an excellent Acupuncturist, she takes the time to listen and understand you and your body before providing the right treatment. She is happy to explain anything she is doing and why she is doing it (this differs from other acupuncturists I have seen). The results of Ali’s treatments are fantastic and the relaxation it provides is something that I cannot do without. It helps me to remain calm and stress free with the balancing act of my busy life.

Unsurprisingly Ali is in high demand…. I therefore always book in advance for my next 3 sessions, to ensure I don’t miss out!

I first came to see Aliya for acupuncture when I moved back home towards the end of my pregnancy. It had been a stressful period and I was booked in for a cesarean. The treatment really helped to keep me calm and prepare me for the birth. I felt the benefits quickly and have since been continuing treatment to help with my recovery post cesarean. Not only has Aliya helped to keep me calm during the postnatal period, but she has also helped my scar to heal, and has reduced the numbness. What I particularly like about Aliya’s approach is that she tailors each session to your needs, and she gives feedback throughout the treatment process to help you feel at ease. She has also given me great advice in other aspects of health and well being, and is very easy to talk to. I will be moving out of the area again soon, but I will continue treatment with Aliya whenever possible.

I found Aliya when my husband and I were almost at the point of believing we would never conceive and carry to term a baby. We had suffered the turmoil of consecutive miscarriages and then failing to conceive for over a year. I remembered seeing a piece about the benefits of acupuncture and much to our relief after some searching I came across Aliya’s name.

At my first treatment Aliya immediately put me at ease and gave me the confidence that we would get there. Aliya identified a number of areas we needed to work on and overtime we addressed them all. Acupuncture is a wonderful treatment method and Aliya is a gifted practitioner. Believe it or not Aliya knew I was pregnant before I did!

This wasn’t a quick process, it took time, but I believed in Aliya and trusted that she could help us. I think that for me was one of the most important things. Aliya is just lovely and I can’t think of a nicer person to help you through one of the hardest times of your life.

Aliya goes the extra mile and fitted me in for treatments to ensure that the pregnancy stayed strong and rooted. After some early bleeding I had a treatment and on the way home it felt as though our little embryo was burrowing deep into my womb. I continued to see Aliya throughout my pregnancy and I’m pleased to say the treatments all worked as I delivered a very healthy baby boy after suffering with gestational diabetes.

After our baby was born Aliya did a wonderful light treatment for him, which he loved.

I often hear people say they didn’t get on with acupuncture, to which I always say, well you should go and see Aliya.

We’re just so thankful that I found Aliya as everyday we now get to see our miracle baby enjoying life and growing happily.

I went to Aliya in Feb of this year having suffered from terrible neck pain for nearly 30 years. I had been to 3 pain clinics, various osteopaths and chiropractors and had almost lost hope of ever living a pain free life. However, after just one session of acupuncture I immediately noticed an improvement after a night out where I would normally expect to be in severe pain and I wasn’t. After 3 sessions I was experiencing no bad necks at all. On top of that my period came and went without any pain. I am thrilled with these results and have recommended Aliya to many of my friends.

Ally performed the fertility/IVF protocol for me and I would highly recommended. She gives wonderful personalised treatment that also targeted my other ailments like allergic rhinitis.

The highlight for me was that Ally worked around my IVF schedule and even made space for me when she was fully booked which meant I could have the full acupuncture protocol.

I would highly recommend !!
